Double Whammy Agility

Classes 1 to 6 are ‘Double Whammy’. Yourun the same course twice and your best result of the Double Whammy Agility goes forward for awards. There will be a limited course time of 50 seconds for these classes.

CompetitionHeights

We aim to make this a fun competition so dogs are able to jump at ANY height, regardless of registered height in competitive competition.

NFC

Small, Medium and Large Dogs in Grade 7 may train in classes 3, 6, 9and 12 not for competition. There will be no awards given to Grade 7 dogs in classes 3, 6, 9 and 12.

Eligibility of Classes

Grade 1

For Owners, Handlers or Dogs which have not gained a win in Agility or 3 wins in jumping classes at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows. Owners, Handlers or Dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 (Elementary) are not eligible for this class.

Grade 2

Open to dogs that are not eligible for Grades 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 and have not gained a win in Agility or 3 wins in Jumping classes at Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed shows, or elected to progress on points from Grade 1. Owners, Handlers or Dogs previously qualified out of Grade 2 (Starters) are not eligible for this class.

Grade 3

Open to dogs that are not eligible for Grades 1 or 2 or have elected to progress on points from Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grades 4, 5, 6 or 7.

Grade 4

Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 3 or elected to progress on points from Grade 3 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 5, 6 or 7.

Grade 5

Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility class or three first places in Jumping classes at Grade 4 or elected to progress on points from Grade 4 at Kennel Club licensed Agility shows and are not eligible for Grades 3, 4, 6 or 7.

Grade 6

Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping classes at Grade 5 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grades 3, 4, 5 or 7.

Awards

Grades 1 and 2 Combined

Results for Grades 1 and 2 will be combined with trophy for 1stplace, Goody Bag for 2nd place and rosettes to 10% of entries. Awards will be allocated within each height category.

Grades 3 and 4 Combined

Results for Grades 3 and 4 will be combined with trophy for 1stplace, Goody Bag for 2nd place and rosettes to 10% of entries. Results will be according to height.

Grades 5 and 6 Combined

Results for Grades 5 and 6 will be combined with trophy for 1stplace, Goody Bag for 2nd place and rosettes to 10% of entries. Results will be according to height.

Running Orders will not be sent out. There will be a list of running orders available on the day or an email list from Friday 25th September 2015 before the show. Email if you would like the list.

Show Rules

1.Dogs under the age of 16 months are not allowed to compete.

2.Should circumstances beyond our control cause the show to be cancelled we reserve the right to deduct a percentage towards hire cost expenses from the entry fees and the remainder will be refunded.

3.The mating of bitches on the grounds is forbidden as is the sale of any dog.

4.No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the show boundaries. Dogs may wear flat collars under test as long as they have no dangling or hanging bits.

5.Foal Farm retain the right to refuse entries.

6.A dog will be withdrawn from competition if it is found to be in season, suffering from a contagious or infectious disease or causing problems at the ringside for other competing dogs, or unsound and likely to suffer if continuing to compete.

7.Running orders will be randomly picked using an online sequencer.

8.It is the handler’s responsibility to ensure they are available at the ring for their running order – we will only have one ring at the show.

9.Puppies must be fully vaccinated to able to attend the show and venue.

10.Please ensure you enter your correct grade and advise if changed before show date.

11.Please park considerably in view of space available.

12. Please be considerate to residents close to Foal Farm.

Directions to the Venue

From M25 Junction 4 – Take the sliproad signposted A21 towards Bromley and Biggin Hill airport. Continue along the A21 going straight aheadon the roundabouts until you reach the PrincessRoyalUniversityHospital (on right side of A21). Take the left sliproad at the traffic rights signposted A232. At traffic lights, turn left onto the A233. Continue on this road, taking the second exit at the roundabout, continuing on the A233. You will pass the Biggin Hill airport on your left hand side then come to a mini roundabout which you will need to go straight ahead. Jail Lane is the first turning on your left hand side signposted Foal Farm. Continue along Jail Lane for approximately 2 miles and our driveway can be found on the right hand side opposite Cudham Village school (there are two driveways, Cherry Lodge Golf Course on the left hand side, we are on the right hand side).

From M25 Junction 5 – Follow signs for A25 Westerham, turn right onto the A233. You will go through Biggin Hill High Street and Jail Lane can be found after the Total garage on the right hand side. Follow directions as above for Jail Lane.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FOAL FARM FUN DOG SHOW

Please note that there will be a Fun Dog Show starting at 11.00 am on the same day at Foal Farm. If you have time, please do enter your dogs! One of the classes will be ‘Best Trick’ so agility dogs can show them how it’s done!! There will also be various ‘dog stalls’ and a scurry. Please email us at if you would like a poster for this event.

PARKING – Please park where officials direct you. Please note that Foal Farm will be open to the public from 1.30 pm onwards and there will be a Fun Dog Show starting at 10.00 am in the opposite side of the field to the agility competition so the venue is NOT secure from the public, although car parking will be in close proximity to the agility area.

The speed limit upon entering the fields will be 5 mph.

GENERAL – Foal Farm is an animal rescue centre. Please ensure that your dogs do not pose a threat to livestock whilst at the show. Anyone found to be exercising their dogs outside of the designated exercise area will be asked to leave.

Foal Farm opens to the public at 1.30 pm. If you wish to take a walk around the farm, please be considerate to both the public and our animals if you are taking your dogs with you. There will be toilets within Foal Farm. Please DO NOT take your dogs with you as there are loose animals around the farm.

There are some very pleasant walks within walking distance of Foal Farm. Please ask at the secretary’s tent if you would like directions.

REFRESHMENTS – Foal Farm’s tea room will be open from 9.00 am providing light refreshments. We are pleased to welcome Refuel at Skinnys who will be providing hot refreshments on the field.

WHERE’S YOUR MONEY GOING? ALL proceeds made from this event will go towards the Main Kennel Rebuild Fund – details of which can be found at the Show on the day. There will be various stalls on the day – please give generously so we can give our rescued dogs suitable accommodation.

DOGS IN HOT CARS

Your dog is vulnerable and at risk if left in a vehicle in high temperatures and even on days considered as slightly warm. Please take care of your dogs. If you dog is found to be at risk forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damage caused.

LIVESTOCK USE THE FIELDS – PLEASE ENSURE YOU CLEAR UP AFTER YOUR DOG AND LEAVE THE VENUE TIDY.

Entry fees payable to Foal Farm are £12 per dog and cover 2 Double Whammy Agility rounds, one Jumping and oneHelter Skelter class. It is not possible to enter individual classes.

Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Entries are limited to avoid over subscription. Late entries at £15 may be accepted on the day if limit has not been reached.
