REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONSFOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT,
ENGINEERING, DESIGN, BID PREPARATION AND CONSTRUCTION
OBSERVATION, AND SUPERVISION SERVICES FOR THEINSTALLATION OF PERMANENT ELEVATED POWER GENERATORS AND WATERTIGHT BULKHEAD-TYPE DOORS AT EXISTING FACILITIES, CDBG-DR GREATER ATLANTIC BEACH WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT–PLANT HARDENING PROJECT
Request for Qualifications for Professional Engineering services for the above referenced projects will be accepted until 3:00pm on Monday, March 16, 2015, at the Greater Atlantic Beach Water Reclamation District, 2150 Bay Blvd. Atlantic Beach NY 11509 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Division of Purchasing office. A description of the project is contained in the individual RFQ packets.
The Greater Atlantic Beach Water Reclamation District (the District) is eligible to apply for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding for disaster recovery projects. Funding will be delivered through the NY Rising Community Reconstruction (NYRCR) Program, within the New York State Governor’s Office of Disaster Recovery (GOSR). Accordingly, respondents are obligated to comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the CDBG-DR program. In addition, respondents are obligated to comply with all municipal codes, ordinances, and regulations. The successful responder must understand that no payments can be made for services until approval of the CDBG-DR application.
The qualification packets may be hand delivered or mailed to the above address. Qualification packets will not be accepted after 3:00pm on the date of the opening. No exceptions shall be granted. RFQ packets may be examined and obtained at the Greater Atlantic Beach Water Reclamation District between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., daily except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays on and after February 23, 2015. The RFQ packet may also be obtained from the District’s website:
The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
The Greater Atlantic Beach Water Reclamation District encourages minority and women-owned businesses to participate in all District bids.
The district will not reimburse any individual or firm for any costs associated with thepreparation of their qualification statement.
