2017 WARRIOR CLASSIC NOVICE

CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

MONDAY, JULY 24, 2015

The Wynnewood Swim Club is pleased to once again host this year’s Warrior Classic Novice Championship Meet on Monday July 24, 2017. We hope you will reward the novice swimmers on your team by entering them in this year’s meet.

If your team is planning to attend you must reply by

Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Teams will be accepted on a space available basis. Please respond by email to the meet chairperson if your team is interested in participating.

QUALIFICATIONS

All team members whose times are not faster than those in the Qualifying Times may swim. Each swimmer may swim in three individual events.

The qualifying times will be based on the first three meets. This will give your teams a little more time to get your information together and deliver it to Wynnewood.

ENTRIES

All entries will be required to be exported out of Team Manager and emailed to me. The entries will need to be emailed to me no later than Friday, July 21st.

Attached to this email is a “Meet Event” file that can be imported into Team Manager. I will use Meet Manager to seed the meet and print out card labels. Payment can be made the night of the meet.

AGE GROUPS

Events will be swum in the following age groups: 6 and under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 and up.

DEADLINES

Entries exported from Team Manager, Team Summary, and List of Volunteers must be emailed to me by Friday, July 21st.

ENTRY FEES

Entry fee will be $4.00 per swimmer, per event for individual events. The Team payment is due when you check in at the meet on Monday, July 24th. Make checks payable to

Wynnewood Recreation Center.

AWARDS

Each individual event will receive medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places with ribbons through eighth place. Heat winners will receive a bouncy ball with their event, name and time on it.

VOLUNTEERS

Each guest team is asked to provide the following volunteers for the entire meet

·  4 timers with WATCHES plus their own relief timer

·  1 runner and 2 people to assist with awards at the scorer’s table.

·  1 person to work at the clerk of course.

You must supply your own relief for your workers.

SCHEDULE

Warm-ups will be sent out with the meet forms after all teams RSVP. Warm-ups will begin at 4:00, with the meet starting at 5:00.

FOOD

Dinner will be available at the CMSL famous Teepee Café. Menu will include: Pit Beef/Turkey, World famous Wynnewood French Fries, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and more! Come hungry!
