Of course, starting your research project with a search engine like Google is great to find specific search terms for your database searches.

Start with the Library Catalogue to find material with the school library.
(Remember to also check your public library for similar requests)
A sample search could be: “Psychology” ~ (which happens to yield 96 titles in the library)
Next on the SMHS Library Website main page is a section of links.
If you were to click on Library Resources, it will take you to the Board’s page of Intermediate/Senior Library Resources. There are many resources on this page (databases require login passwords available at SMHS Library) which are excellent sources for this course, including:
Again, remember your public library card will also provide access to additional relevant databases.
Next on the SMHS Library Website main page is the Database Search area.
All of these databases are relevant to this course and will provide abundant information for your research needs. (Password handout is available in the library on the circulation desk by the wicker basket). Salem Press is a Psychology and Mental Health Reference set (print version located in the library in the Reference Section > 150.3 SAL or ask the librarian.
