PCCJ/BJPCN Best Practice Award 2017

‘Making Best PracticeEvery Day Practice’

The Award is open to any commissioner or provider, team or individual promoting best practice in primary care for cardiovascular disease and related disorders. It will be presented to a project that is delivering excellence in CVD management.

The theme of the award will be “Making best practice everyday practice” and submission will be in the form of abstracts/posters describing the projects/initiatives and their outcomes. Practices, organisations and individuals are invited to submit their entries no later than Friday 29th September 2017.

The objectives of the award are to:

  • Promote the highest standards of provision of CVD health care in primary care
  • To allow you to continuously share best practice

First, some rules…

Submit your poster abstract. Editors of the PCCJ and BJPCN will select the top 10 abstracts. Authors will then be notified by Wednesday 4th October and invited to present their project as a poster, to be displayed throughout the duration of the conference.

All accepted entrants will receive one free registration place at the event.

The winner will be selected by the Editors Bev Bostock and Mike Kirby during the meeting.

The winner will subsequently be announced at the Awards Ceremony at 12.45 on Saturday 11th November and the winning author presented with their award. The poster will be published on conference website post event.

Entries should be typed, no smaller than 10pt in single spacing. Entries should be no more than 300 words (250 if tables are included).Do not include references or illustrations. Any biographical and identifying data should appear on the front page only, so that all work is blinded to the judges.
