AP DIGITAL SUBMISSION

You need to go to the AP Central Website to submit your images. In order to do this you will need to create an account while in the following website:

Fill in personal information

You will need your Teachers Key and the school code.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THE CORRECT PORTFOLIO!

Use the key code for your teacher (the updated code may be supplied later)

Your images should be formatted as follows:

File format: All images must be in JPEG format, file name extension .jpg

·  Label your images with your Initials, a letter for quality concentration or breadth (Q, C or B) and the chronological number that applies to the order of viewing.

Example: BLSB1 (if it was a 3D piece and the second view BLSB1V2)

* Maximum file size: 3.0 MB per image

This means you need to save a copy of your images at a lower dpi

SAVE ONE COPY OF EACH IMAGE AT 300 FOR PRINTING AND OTHER USES AND SAVE ONE COPY AT A LOWER DPI (200 or 72DPI) to be loaded on the website

* Maximum Image size:

Vertical images 530 (Width) pixels x 780 (Height) pixels

(Portrait orientation) = 7.361 x 10.833 inches

Horizontal images 780 (Width) pixels x 530 (Height) pixels

(Landscape orientation) = 10.833 x 7.361 inches

. * Minimum Image size

Vertical images 480 (Width) pixels x 480 (Height) pixels

(Portrait orientation) = 6.67 x 6.67 inches

Horizontal images 480 (Width) pixels x 480 (Height) pixels

(Landscape orientation) = 6.67 x 6.67 inches

Orientation (e.g., portrait or landscape): Students should edit the images to the desired orientation before uploading the image files to the AP Studio Art Digital Submission application. Students cannot change the orientation of an image from within the application.

WARNIING

Images may be moved around or exchanged once they are loaded onto the website, HOWEVER, MAKE SURE YOU SAVE AFTER EACH ADDITION OR ALTERATION! If not, you will lose the image. Load early, if you wait until the last few days to load you will encounter server issues and you may loose images while loading or encounter wait significant time.
