We wish to thank our Bethel family for the prayers, cards and words of sympathy at the time of death of Gerald's sister Helen. May God bless you all! Gerald and Julene Mulder.

The Council wishes to thank Pat Medema for her donation towards the signs for the handicapped seating in our sanctuary. This gift was given in memory of Dustin Medema.

The Council wishes to thank Ray Lange for his faithful service in plowing the snow at church for the last 50 years, ever since the church was built. As he is now retiring from this task, we want to show our appreciation for this service done in the name of Christ and encourage the congregation to do so as well.

Rev. Brower will be undergoing surgery this Monday, April 16th and will be recovering at home over the next two weeks. Please primarily direct concerns and needs at this time to your district elder or to Randy Posthuma, Council Vice President, at (920)960-2636.

Bethel Community

Next week our evening service is a combined service at First CRC to celebrate GEMS Sunday.

B.Y.P.S. is meeting at Jud-Son's on Wednesday, April 18th at 7:00 pm for an hour of bowling and pizza.

There is a Building addition volunteer sign-up sheet located on the east bulletin table in the narthex for anyone interested in helping out with the building project. Thank you.

Senior Fellowship: Our next meeting will be April 16th at 7:00 pm. Our lesson will be The Last Passover. Annabelle is on for devotions, and Ellen will bring the lunch. We will be discussing summer activities, so please come with ideas.

Dates have been set for the B.Y.P.S. serve project in Cary, Mississippi – July 28th-August 4th. Adult leaders are needed to accompany us on this trip! To all new members of Bethel: We have set aside two dates in April for new families who have not had the opportunity to have their picture taken for the Family Picture bulletin board. These photo sessions will take place at Cassandra VerHage's studio at 425 E. Main Street in Waupun. The dates are Thursday, April 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 28th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A sign-up sheet is located on the east table in the narthex. Community

Cadets will be having their Derby car race and pizza fun night on Wednesday, April 25th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun. Please have your Derby Cars ready by then.

The Timid Dragon will be showing on Thursday, April 19th at Central Wisconsin Christian School in the Crusader Centre at 7:00 pm. This short play will be presented by CWC’s 8th grade class. A free-will offering will be taken to help defray the costs. We hope to see you there!

Prospective kindergarten students at CWC are invited to attend our Kindergarten Round-Up on Wednesday, April 25th. The kids will have an opportunity to visit the classroom and spend time with Mrs. Zonnefeld to get a taste of school from 9:00 – 11:00 am.

On Monday, April 30th, CWC will be hosting our Early Childhood Showcase for all 3/4K, 4K and Kindergarten parents. The evening will begin with a special presentation at 6:30 pm in the Commons, and will include time to meet our staff, explore details of our programs and visit the classrooms. Please use the event entrance on the south side of the building. Openings are still available for all three programs for next year. Give us a call at 324-4233 to find out more!

Celebrate Grandparents’ Day: It promises to be a special day at CWC on Friday, April 27th as we celebrate Grandparents’ Day. All grandpas, grandmas, and other special people in the lives of our students are invited to come and experience this event at our unified campus. Classroom visits will begin at 8:00 am, with a luncheon to follow at 10:45 and a special program by our students at noon. You won’t want to miss it! The annual CWC Society meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 24th in the CWC Crusader Centre at 7:00 pm. On the agenda will be election of Board members and the proposed 2012-2013 Budget. Materials for the meeting will be in either office on April 13th. The PIA will meet immediately after the society meeting.

This Tuesday, April 17th is the Bethany Benefit Banquet at Central Wisconsin Christian School. Punch is served at 6:30 pm with dinner following at 7:00 pm. Special music will be provided by Kingdom Riders Band.

Men and Women: You are invited to hear Rhea Briscoe speak at 1st Reformed Church in Waupun on Tuesday, April 24th. Rhea is an active keynote speaker with a passion to see people experience the freedom and power found only in Jesus Christ. Come celebrate with the Bible League International’s Praise-a-thon, celebrating 50 years of the Bible League Volunteers! A free-will offering will be taken during the program for Bibles for India. A light supper will be served at 6:00 pm, with the program to follow at 7:00 pm. Pre-registration is required for the supper; no pre-registration is needed for the program. Camp Calvin registrations are now available! You can find the registration brochures on the east table in the narthex. For each brochure taken please sign the sheet located next to the registration brochures with the child's name. New this year: The health forms are to be sent directly to the camp nurse, whose name and address are listed on the health form. Registration forms and the $50 deposit are due May 1. Health forms and the remaining camp fee of $55 are due May 20 (church policy is $200 of the fee is paid by the Bethel deacons). Thank you.
