Pre-Registration
If you have a child who will be five years of age on or before August 31st, 2013, and has never attended a public school, please fill out the form below to pre-register your child for kindergarten beginning August, 2013. Return the completed pre-registration form, an acceptable proof of residency (showing service into the home – power, water, cable, etc. – must be in mom or dad’s name and must be a current bill), birth certificate, and Proof of Residence/Transportation form to:

If you currently have a student at Woodland Heights Elementary School, this information can be returned via your student. You can also hand deliver to the office or send by mail.
Kindergarten registration packets will be ready for pick up on Friday, February 15th, 2013. The above requested information must be turned into the school in order to pick up a kindergarten registration packet. This packet will give detailed instructions about what will be needed to complete the registration process on April 12th. When you pick up the registration packet in the front office, you will be assigned a time slot (8:30am and/or 10:30am) on April 12thfor your registration session.

Please return this requested information to the school as soon as possible. Additional information will be available on February 15th. We must have the Kindergarten Round-Up Pre-Registration Form, birth certificate, and proof of residence/transportation in hand in order for you to pick up the packet.
Note: The immunization law requirements for entering school in NC are listed below. If your child has not completed these, please be sure that he/she gets the required immunizations before school begins this August. All incoming kindergarten students must also have a complete physical. This North Carolina law became effective for the
1994-95 school year. Forms are available at the school should you schedule the exam before receiving the packet.
