Survey after survey shows high fuel prices have Americans pairing their travel plans and staying close to home. But one hotel chain is trying to buck the trend… Choice Hotels International has announced that guests can earn Choice Privileges rewards points that can be used towards free gas when they stay at over 3500 Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion or Cambria Suites brand hotels throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Starting September 1, when guests book their qualifying stays through choicehotels.com or 800.4CHOICE and join the Choice Privileges rewards program, they’ll earn enough reward points after every third stay to redeem for a free $50 gas card. Guests can earn this reward up to five times, for a total of up to $250 in gas cards, for stays with arrival from September 1 through November 30, 2008.
