Upcoming Programs: NFL umpire Bill Quinby will speak next week

Word for the Day: Fandangle. A fantastic ornament. Tomfoolery.

Program Overview: Nick Pugliese, manager of soprts content for the Gazette/KCRG, told of his move to CR from the Tampa area. Nick worked for the Tampa Tribune for 30 years prior to the move. Nick’s family is looking forward to their first experience living with snow and ice, and are adapting despite culture shock. He notes that most colleagues and acquaintances are lifelong Midwesterners, whereas, all Floridans were from somewhere else.

Nick has all the current challenges with print and online media – trying to figure out a way to make it pay for the embedded content.
