Shift Schedule

Here is the LCLS Shift Schedule from February 7 to March 8,2011.

Brief list of the role of the Program Deputies (more is in ASD "Operations Directives"):

1)Conduct the 8 am accelerator progress meeting each morning to review the progress of the previous day, announce schedule modifications, and dispatch resources as required.

2)Give a summary of the day's proposed activities at the 8:15 meeting, as needed.

3)Meet with instrument scientists and users outside of the 8am MCC meeting to find out how things have gone so far and what can be improved.

4)Monitor and coordinate the activities in the control room (on call 24 hours per day).

5)Help interface the operations staff with the various real-time demands of users and instrument scientists.

6)Help interface with the support groups to get needed repairs launched to minimize down times.

7)Initiate alternate programs if the primary program cannot continue.
