Congratulations to Chris Lane and Betzie Clements for placing 10th and 15th in the State Bowling Championships this past weekend.
Congrats to the DECA Quiz Bowl team that took 2nd in the State this past weekend. Team members were Mackenzie Coburn, Kayla Enochs, Kasey Petty and Shelbie Prince.
Congratulations to Devon Patton on having his ring selected as a Central Ohio Regional Representative for the Governor’s Art Exhibition. Devon’s ring will compete this weekend for State Honors. Good Luck Devon!
The Cruiser Lounge is closed today thru Thursday, March 10th.
Attention Students: Do you want to see your favorite teacher get a pie thrown in their face? If you pay a quarter you can vote on which teacher will get the pie in their face. You can buy your vote during your lunch period or study hall class. All proceeds go towards St. Jude’s so Team up for a Cure!
Attention any Junior or Sophomore interested in information about applications for the Military Academies, A representative from Rep. Steven Stivers Office will be here on March 22nd at 9:15 a.m. You need to sign up in the Guidance Office before that date to meet with them.
Reminder that any girl interested in Softball: Tryouts are today and Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Gym.
Girls Track: Mandatory practice will begin today, March 7th.
Boys Track practice begins today – check in with the Football team in the Cafeteria after school.
There will be a Band Concert tomorrow, March 8th at 7:30 in the Auditorium.
March Madness is up to 8 teams. Registration ends on March 11th. Register before you miss your chance. Fee is only $20.
Seniors: Make sure you have ordered your cap & gown. Forms are on the Senior Bulletin board. Diploma request forms are due April 15th. Forms are on Bulletin board also.
Friday, March 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. will be the Volleyball meeting with student-athletes in the Cafeteria. Volleyball players are to bring drinks and cups. This is an athlete only meeting, no parents!
The Girls Basketball Banquet will be on March 16th at 6:15 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Cost is $6 to Coach Woodson by March 11th.
The Boys Basketball Banquet will be on March 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the H.S. Cafeteria.
Freshman Baseball Tryouts will resume today, March 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the H.S. Gym.
March is Reach Out and Read month. Nationwide Children’s Hospital asks for book donations each year that will benefit its patients. They will accept new or “gently used” books. Books up to 4th grade level only, no religious or political message, no books published before 2000, and no romance novels. Books will be collected in the Library.
2010-11 yearbooks are on sale, see Mrs. Webber in Room 102.
There will be a Mandatory Cheerleading Pre-Tryout Meeting on Monday, April 4th in the H.S. Library. Mandatory Clinics are April 18th, 19th and 20th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the H.S. Gym. Tryouts will be on Thursday, April 21st from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
