Judson University is seeking nominations for the D. Ray Wilson Volunteer Service Award, which is presented annually to the candidate who has contributed to the greater good within the “Golden Corridor” community (Elgin, East Dundee, Carpentersville, Sleepy Hollow, South Elgin, Schaumburg, St. Charles, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, Barrington) by voluntarily serving others’ physical, emotional, intellectual or spiritual needs.

The D. Ray Wilson Volunteer Service Award will be given during Judson’s Annual Golden Corridor Prayer Breakfast to be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., in the Lindner Fitness Center in Elgin. All nominators and nominees are invited to attend the breakfast. Tickets for the event will be $16. Online registration will be available through Judson University’s website at www.judsonu.edu beginning in mid-March.

Submission Guidelines:
The candidate must: (1) live and volunteer within the “Golden Corridor” community (Elgin, East Dundee, Carpentersville, Sleepy Hollow, South Elgin, Schaumburg, St. Charles, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, Barrington); (2) be nominated by a co-worker, relative or friend through the nomination form; (3) be able to attend the May 4, 2010 Golden Corridor Community Prayer Breakfast at Judson University. Nominator and nominee can purchase tickets for $16.

Nomination:
Deadline: Nominations must be received by April 5, 2010.

(1) Please submit nomination using the format on page 2.

(2) Past award recipients are not eligible to receive the award. Previous nominees may be re-nominated, however, a current 2010 nomination must be submitted for consideration.

(3) Electronic submission of the nomination is highly encouraged. The nomination form can be completed online at www.judsonu.edu/communityaward/.
