Project Assistant, Dual Enrollment

SALARY/BENEFITS:

$26,000 annually. This is a full-time position with a state of Georgia benefits package.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Successful applicants will be responsible for responding to requests and needs of visitors and students; keeping abreast of admissions regulations, policies and procedures; processing and entering new student applications, testing new students, assisting with registration; providing administrative support such as answering telephone; coordinating itinerary and calendar; preparing various documents using Microsoft Office Suite. The project assistant will also work with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Academic Deans to develop an understanding of credential requirements for faculty members as established by individual departments. Primary appointment is on the Camden County. Position desired start date begins April 1, 2018.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent *and* Two years of general office work to include duties such as filing, typing, handling customers' questions, data entry, computer usage; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with others.
  • Previous CPTC or TCSG work experience

COMPETENCIES:

  • Skill in the operation of computers and job related software programs
  • Decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong technical skills to include computers, multimedia, software, hardware, networking, printing, video, sound, Internet and data projection amongst others.
