Dear Curlers,
In the name of the Berne Ladies Curling Club we are very pleased to invite you and your team to our 48th international bonspiel.
Date:Thursday 07th to Sunday 10th January 2016
Venue: Curlingbahn Allmend, Berne / Switzerland
Participants:32 teams. If there are more registrations then this, the organizing
committee will decide, which teams will be set on the waiting list
and which can partake in the bonspiel. Decisions will be made
after the closing date of registration.
Entry Fee:SFr. 620.00. To pay before the competition to our bank account.
The entry fee includes:
• Ice fees
• The CCT contribution
• Practice ice on Thursday morning or afternoon for 1 hour per team
• Transport between the player Hotel Bern to the arena throughout the duration
of the competition and practice times on Thursday
• Dinner and drinks on Thursday evening in the player Hotel Bern for those
teams which stay in the player Hotel
• Dinner and non alcoholic drinks on Friday and Saturday
• Water, fruits and a bag with give aways for free
• Self-made cakes on Friday and Saturday afternoon
• Massage on Friday and Saturday afternoon
Price money:SFr. 20’500.00
Rules of game:In accordance with the WCF and SCA
System of play:Triple-Knock-Out, Consolation Cup, 4 games guaranteed to all
teams, on Sunday quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
Accommodation:Our hotel sponsor, the four starsHotel Bern, offers rooms for a special price:
• SFr. 145.00 for two people per night in a double room with two beds
• SFr. 135.00 for two people per night in a double room with grand lit (one) bed
• SFr. 125.00 per person per night in a single room
• SFr. 165.00 for three people per night in a triple room
American breakfast is included in this price. For all hotel guests the tram rides in Berne are included
as well. We are happy to arrange your overnight stays.
