Government spend on regeneration initiatives

Your request has been considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.Unfortunately it has not been possible toprovide you with all the information you have requested because the Department for Communities and Local Government can only provide information that it holds and not across government generally. I have therefore provided you with information on requested regeneration initiatives that the Department has or is still directly administering.

Major projects classification

Unfortunately we do not hold all the level of detail that you have requestedon Major regeneration projects as prior to 2013, the Department did not categorise projects as being Major/Non Major. However, for 2013-14,I can confirm that DCLG does not currently have any capital projects in the Government’s MajorProject Portfolio for the regeneration initiatives you have listed.Major projects are defined by the Cabinet Office and if you wish to see past years data, please visit the Cabinet Office website link below.

Information at project level

Unfortunately we do not hold all the information at this level as the Department’s historic budgets/spend records are at programme level and not project. Also, the Department does not now have access to all staff/records in order to unpick spend data from programme to project level.I have therefore supplied you with a list of our programme outturns / budgets for the requested initiatives covering the spending period 2002-03 to 2013-14, please see Annex A.

HCA information

For projects led by our Arms Length Bodies such as the HCA, your request should be sent direct to that body where they may hold the detailed information you are seeking – please see the website link below.
