A MESSAGE FROM MR STEVEN BADCOTT

Class 1 News

Mars Class have beenimmersingthemselves in their ‘Come and Join the Celebration’ topic theme with some very messy art activities. Making firework pictures for a displaymeant using chalk, paint and glitter on the same sheet! The work involved flicking blobs of paint at the paper to create a "slpatter"effect. It was brilliant fun and there will be lots of fantastic firework explosions to look at on the walls of the classroom after the weekend!

Children in Need. Well done to everyone who participated in this year’s Children in Need day and helped to raise the grand total of £60.30p. There were some wonderful costumes and lots of fun had.

Growth Mindset

Learning from our mistakes
At Halberton Primary we use a marking scheme where green represents growth. Gone are the days of the notorious red pen! We encourage our children to 'grow their brains' by learning from their mistakes. We can take inspiration from famous failures, such as JK Rowling. Is your child inspired by someone famous? It's very likely that the person they are inspired by experienced failure before becoming successful.
Mrs Campion

EYB principal dancers are of the highest calibre and have joined EYB from companies such as English National Ballet, La Scala, Milan and the Boston Ballet.
