December 2015 Meeting Called to order:

Dick’s Sporting Goods is to remain our primary sponsor. They will host (2) sets of NHYLA Appreciation Days / weekends. The first is set for 2/20 – 2/21. Discounts will be given to all merchandise throughout NH stores. More details to come on this next meeting. NHYLA towns will man the stores by setting up tables to hand out coupons and help with any questions. Need volunteers. The January meeting we will assign times and store coverage.

Treasurers Report: $41,381.90 balance after a few disbursements. Report accepted.

US Lax: CEP clinics are starting to be confirmed and posted. Please reference uslacrosse.org for updated dates and times for all national clinics. Locally, Exeter and Bow will be hosting clinics on 3/19 & 3/20. Bow (3/19) will be a level 2 for both men and women. Exeter (2/20) will be a level 1 for both as well.

At the national convention (1/21-2/24), there will be a “New England Meeting” on Saturday night. This is usually a NH Chapter sponsored event. This year, we will try to get members of all the New England states to come to a social. More details at the January meeting.

A motion to pay up to (10) trainers $200 each to attend the convention was made. (5) each for boys and girls referee trainers was approved by the group.

Boys VP: Kevin discussed the CEP trainings hosted in NE for both level 1 and level 2.

Girls VP: Kevin re-iterated the trainings held throughout the local area. He references uslacrosse.org and the many options for your coaches to be certified.

Boys Officials: Wayne discussed the numbers registered for both the Londonderry training and the Wolfeboro training. Spots are still open. Candidates must contact him soon. All pertinent information is posted on the NHYLA site. Londonderry will be (5) Tuesdays at Londonderry HS and the Wolfeboro training will be (2) classes on Sundays in March.

Girls Officials: Dave will post information regarding women’s officials training on the NHYLA site soon. The training will be held in Concord at NHTI in March. He offered free gear through his contacts at Maverick / Bauer Lacrosse to any in need. See Dave if in need.

President: Steve discussed the availability of free Monarchs tickets through our cross promotional agreement / program.
