Alternative Sources of Energy

I think that we should use alternative energy sources for many reasons.One of the reasons why I think we should use alternative energy sources is that fossil fuels are running out and they are nonrenewable. A second reason I think we should use alternative sources of energy is burning fossil fuels causes global warming.The third reason I think we should use alternative sources of energy is that using renewable energy sources is better for the environment. These are just three of the many reasons to use alternative sources of energy.

One of the reasons why I think we should use alternative energy sources isthat fossil fuels are running out and they are nonrenewable. Fossil fuels are considered nonrenewable because they take millions of years to form so they are not easily replaced. Fossil fuel being nonrenewable means they will eventually run out so even if we don’t use alternative sources of energy now, we will eventually have to rely on them for everything and why not start now.

A second reason why I think we should use alternative sources of energy is burning fossil fuels causes global warming. Global warming is when greenhouse gases trap in the sun’s heat and causes the Earths global average temperature to increase. The burning of fossil fuels releases the greenhouse gas CO2resulting that in global warming, which is one of the reasons why we should use alternative energy sources.

The third reason I think we should use alternative sources of energy is thatusing renewable energy sources is better for the environment. Using renewable energy is a better for the environment because renewable technologies are clean sources of the energy that have much lower environmental impact, which is why I think everyone should use alternative sources of energy.

In conclusion you have now just learned three of the many reasons I think we should use alternative sources of energy. First, fossil fuels are nonrenewable. Second, burning fossil fuels causes global warming. Lastly, the third reason I think we should use alternative sources of energy.
