LESSON 2 MY SCHOOL

Hello. My name is Ahmed. Today I’m going to talk about my school, Mohammed Bin Abdul Wahab Independent High School for Boys. It is located in South Maethir. In my school we have 25 classrooms : Grade 10, Grade 11 and Grade 12. I’m in Grade 10. We study many subjects at school. For example, we study Islam, Arabic, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Computer and Physical Education. I am mostly interested in computer, because I like chatting with my friends and finding information on the Internet. /
/ My school is modern. It has many facilities. We have new classrooms, new chairs, new desks, new whiteboards. Each student has his own locker. We usually work in groups. Team work is very interesting.
Classes begin at 7 A.M. and finish at 2 P.M. We have six lessons a day. We have to breaks. We usually have food and refreshments in each break. In the second break, we pray Noon Prayer. I feel very happy at my school. I never feel bored. It is really an interesting school. /

Hello again. It is me, Ahmed. Today I'm going to talk about some subjects I learn at school. Everyday we, Mohammed Bin Abdul Wahab Independent High School students, have six lessons. That means we have thirty lessons every week. Every week, we have five English lessons, five Arabic lessons, five math lessons, three Islam lessons, three social studies lessons, two biology lessons, two physics lessons, two chemistry lessons, two GYM lessons, and one computer lesson. As I said before, I am mostly interested in computer, but unfortunately we have only one computer lesson.

All the subjects we learn are very important. In Arabic and English, we learn how to speak and write formal languages. We learn reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar and vocabulary. In science, we learn math, biology, physics and chemistry. Islamic and social studies are very important.
