ARN and Emotive unveil new iHeartRadio propertiesat 2015 iHeartRadio LIVElaunch with Hozier
Last night Sydney witnessed GRAMMY nominated artist Hozier rocking iHeartRadio LIVE, presented by KIIS and Optus at The X Studio in Kings Cross.
An Optus exclusive, the iHeartRadio LIVE event was designed not only as a major live music event but also to produce multiple content pieces that are being amplified across the social media universe today, including being picked up by a number of social influencers in the music space.
Direct from last weekend’s international iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA where he won Alternative Rock Song of the Year for his smash hit ‘Take Me To Church’,Hozier wowed over 300 fans with a standout set of crowd favorites including his catchy new single‘Someone New’. Hosted by KIIS 1065’s Gordie Waters, fellow KIIS presenter the 3PM Pick Up’s Zoe Marshall enjoyed the show while other local celebrity fans attending included Richard and Christian Wilkins, Kate Peck, Scott Tweedie, Didier Cohen, Steven Khalil, and Casey Burgess.
Prior to the performance, ARN and Emotive announced a number of new initiatives designed to engage even more audiences and brands with the iHeartRadio platform in Australia with a presentation to media, music and entertainment industry guests.
Building on iHeartRadio’s Australian success of the last 18 months, which has resulted in over 400,000 registered users, these initiatives include the evolution of theiHeartRadio LIVE series, the launch of the iHeartRadio Countdown with Matty Acton, additional live event propertyiHeartRadio on the Verge which is designed to jumpstart new talent and new genre-specific channels.
