Creating your MyMathLab Courses for Spring 2017 – Revised 1/5/17
Step #1 Step #2
(a) Copy your old class
OR
(b) Copy a department class
by typing the correct
Course ID from the list below
and pressing “Enter”.
140 [Arch Custom Combo Lecture] Course ID: elliott16384 [no changes]
140 [Arch Custom Combo LAB] Course ID: elliott25358
030 [Arch Custom Combo Lecture] Course ID: elliott28218 [no changes]
030 [Arch Custom Combo Lab]: John will create these courses and give you your Course ID by email.
020 [Arch Custom Combo Lecture] Course ID: elliott41464 [no changes]
020 [Arch Custom Combo Lab]: John will create these courses and give you your Course ID by email.
Step #3: Type in a “Course Name” (this name will be seen by the students when they log in)
Note: Course Dates are now required to be entered. I would set the enrollment start date and the course start date the same as the date you are creating the course. I strongly recommend setting the enrollment end date and the course end date for 1 year after their start dates.
Then click on “Create Course”

[The layout has changed a lot - again. Not many new features. One really nice change is that late access/penalty information is preserved even when a due date is not saved. Copying an old “member” course will now copy the coordinator of the member course. I have created all of my department courses (above) as standard coursed to reduce confusion.]
