The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm by Co-Chair Rebecca Gleed.

There was no public comment.

1.  Updates from affiliates were provided from those affiliates present:

-  Ascending Counseling Solutions – awaiting licensing visit

-  1Life 1Love

-  Nu Dimensions – received a provisional license

-  Center for Discovery- received their permanent 1 year license

-  Meetown Residential Care

-  Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc.

-  Gracey’s Vision Healthcare

-  Alexandria CSB

-  YES Family Services of Virginia

2. Updates were provided from State Representative: Sarah Burlar

- new affiliates lots of growth

- changes in regions. Regions 1 and 2 have been combined

- business cards were handed out

- the contact information for Sarah Burlar will be emailed to affiliates

New business

New affiliate presentations:

1. Jaco Health Care Systems

- non profit to help individuals with Intellectual Disabilities providing a group home

2.Virginia Counseling and Wellness Center: outpatient mental health services for children through adults

Amanda Mehlenbad moved to accept Jaco Health Care Systems and Virginia Counseling and Wellness as affiliates. The motion was seconded by Bob Shaffer and carried unanimously.

The committee members encouraged all affiliates to recruit committee members. The committee needs 2 more professional members. Professional members are people who have experience in the field. The committee needs to have a minimum of 5 members and can have 7.

The following affiliates presented quarterly and annual reports:

- Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc.

- Alexandria CSB

- Center for Discovery

- Gracey's Vision Healthcare

- MedTech

- Lifeline Home Health

- Nu Dimensions

- Yes Family Service

- 1 life 1 Love

Review of November minutes. Clarifications were made to the minutes regarding trainings. Rebecca Gleed moved to approve minutes. Bob Shaffer seconded. The motion approved.

The committee moved to enter an executive session at 8:20 pm. The motion was seconded and approved.
