2018 ANNUAL SPRING JURIED SHOW

Artists are invited to enter their original artwork in a juried competition at City Lights Art Gallery, 3 E Army Street, Henderson NV 89015 during the month of March 2018.

Judging will take place on 4 March and over $1,300.00 will be awarded. Accepted entries will be displayed at City Lights Art Gallery for the month of March.

Prizes will be awarded in 6 categories: Watercolor, Oil, Acrylics, Pastel/Drawing, Photography and Other Media (to include collage, encaustic, 3-dimensional works, etc.). A Best of Show will also be awarded. Two judges will jury the show, one for Photography, Janice Phillips, and one for all other categories, Regina Marvin.

A Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 10th from 2pm to 6pm at City Lights Gallery.

All entries must be original and done by the submitting artist. City Lights Gallery requires a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) for each piece of artwork submitted. City Lights’ CoA is attached for your convince, or you may use your own. All artwork must be wired and ready for hanging (no saw tooth hangers are allowed). An attachment is provided to assist you in preparing your artwork for hanging. Gallery wrapped canvas works with painted edges are acceptable. A size limit of 1,100 square inches for each framed work will be strictly enforced (measured from outside edges of the frame).

All entries will be entered at the Gallery on 2 and 3March from 10am to 4pm.

Submission Forms are attached for your convince. Entrants must sign a Hold Harmless Agreement when art is delivered to City Lights Art Gallery if the artists is not a City Lights Member. The City Lights Art Gallery Hold Harmless Form is attached. For City Lights Co-Op Members a Artist Record Sheet is also attached for your convenience. In order to expedite the check-in process, we suggest that all forms be completed and attached to your artwork along with the CoAswhen you come in.

Please note that due to gallery space limitations, the possibility exists, that not all art submitted will be accepted. Artists will be advised by 5 March if any of their entries have not been accepted.

Entry Fees are not refundable.
