Dear Managers and Coaches;
It is my pleasure to write each of you at this time. I hope that you are enjoying the start of your minor midget season and I look forward to working with you and your team.
We wish to connect with you as to inform you, your players and families of our Player Eligibility Policy regarding the OHL Priority Selection as introduce last season.
OHL Player Eligibility Policy:
All players who are properly registered and playing for an Ontario-based Minor Midget AAA hockey team or Minor Midget aged players properly registered and playing for a team in the Great North Midget League shall automatically be deemed eligible to be claimed in the OHL Priority Selection Process.
We feel that it is important to provide this information to all players and families as soon as possible.
Communication through 2010-11 Season:
We wish to obtain your players and/or families email address as to communicate the new policy directly to them.
In addition we will utilize the emails to correspond to all players and families throughout the entire minor midget year as to provide to them information regarding the Ontario Hockey League via the ‘OHL Prospects Newsletter’.
Finally, the League no longer distributes information packages and player questionnaires through traditional mail, thus it is important that we receive a primary email for every player on your team as to ensure they do receive an electronic player questionnaire (distributed in mid February to draft eligible players).
If you could please file your roster with email addresses (template attached should you wish to use) directly to me at at your earliest convenience it would be greatly appreciated.
We will distribute our first newsletter on October 1st, 2010.
