Date/Time: Sunday August 15th, 2010, 10 am – 5 pm
Location: Hawthorne Boulevard, 12th-50th
Each business can participate in a variety of ways. Please let us know ASAP how you would like to be involved. For examples, see last year’s event at www.thinkhawthorne.com/happenings. The more we know about how your store/company plans to participate, the more details we can include in the publicity for the event.
Here are some ideas:
__ Sell your products on the sidewalk in front of your business
__ Have a festive activity at your business (let us know what ASAP!)
__ Have a booth selling your products in central vendor area – this year, FREE to HBBA members
__ Link to www.thinkhawthorne.com/happenings from your web site or e-newsletter!
__ Distribute this information sheet in your block and gather info from businesses (June)
__ Distribute color posters in your block or in other parts of Portland (mid-July)
__ Help during the event (signage, trash/recycling bins, etc)
__ Clean up and beautify storefront, sidewalk, etc near your store prior to event
__ Ask employees to use bike/transit to free up parking during the street fair
__ Major sponsor - $1000 Your banner on stage, Logo on posters, print ads, Cinemagic screen ad,
Logo on special Hawthorne Day banner ad onwww.thinkhawthorne.com, linked to the event listing
__ Major sponsor - $500 – Logo on posters & ads, verbal mention by MC, name on website
__ Sponsor $250 – Name on posters, newspaper ad, and on website
__ Contribute $50, $100, or other amount – name listed on website
__ Become a HBBA Member
