Section1-Overview

Trackingyourevidence

DuringyourcourseyourTutor/Assessorwillaskyoutocarryoutworkeitherintheclassroom,inyourworkplaceor athomewhich you’llkeepasevidenceofyourlearning.

Theworkyouproduce(evidence)willbeassessedbyyourTutor/Assessortomakesureyou’vecoveredeverythinginsufficient detail. Yourevidencecouldbemadeupofa combinationof:

Malpractice

‘Malpractice’isusedtodescribesomethingapersondoeswhentheyintentionallymisleadsomebody. Anexamplemaybecopying somebodyelse’sworkandpassingitoffasyourown.Wheneverwe’renotifiedabouta suspectedoractualcaseofmalpractice,we‘ll workwiththecentretofindoutifandwhymalpracticehappenedandwhatwecandotosortitout.

Ifyourcentresuspectsyou’vebeeninvolvedin malpractice,wewon’tbeabletoissueyourcertificateduringtheinvestigation.If we provethatmalpracticehashappened,youmayhavepartofyourassessmentdisallowedor,inseriouscases,yourfinalresultsmay bevoid.Thismeansyouwon’treceiveacertificateor,ifwe’vealreadyissuedyouone,we’llaskthatyoureturnitstraightaway.
