Orlando, FL (SGIA Booth #2512) – October 24, 2007– Agfa Graphics today announced the installation of its :Dotrix Modular atthe Winston-Salem, NC, manufacturing facility of Alliance, a Division of Rock-Tenn Company. :Dotrix Modular is the latest generation of the wide-web, high-speed, cost-effective inkjet digital press and its installation is part of Alliance’scontinued commitment to invest in new technology.
Alliance has been successfully running customized displays, packaging and other targeted in-store marketing solutions on the original :Dotrix press for more than three years. The new :Dotrix Modular offers significant advancements in durability, reliability, consistency and quality on a wider range of paper substrates and thicknesses. It was installed and will be serviced under an exclusive agreement with Agfa Graphics and is part of the ongoing relationship betweenAlliance and Agfa Graphics to expand and enhance digital printing capabilities for the at-retail marketing industry.
