1. New Term Preparation / 1.1 Participate in the interview of new teaches of the same or similar subject and the review of current teachers who apply for renewal of contract
1.2 Update in advance the subject syllabus and pacing guide, make sure that the teaching package (like textbook, supporting materials, reference book, teaching plan model, previous test paper and notebook) are ready before the start of new term
1.3 Participate in company’s pre-post teacher training and work as trainer in subject group
2. Organization of Academic Activities within the Subject Team / 2.1 Update team member name and contact list, establish in-group communication network, guarantee the opening of communication channel and quick response to team members’ questions and appeals
2.2 Write and submit work plan and summary report in the early and end of each term
2.3 Organize high-quality and down-to-earth academic activities according to the work plan and keep close records, lend vigorous support to central office’s efforts on teacher development and evaluation
2.4 Lead subject test organization, including mid-term and final exam paper writing, grading, analyzing; lead standardized test preparation and strategies making
2.5 Form different project teams to produce academic works like local textbooks, test prep materials and teaching videos to build up company’s reputation and influence in the business
2.6 Organize creative non-academic team building activities to build collective morale and sense of belonging
2.7 The overall work of the team is satisfactory: high morale, progress in teaching skills and research level, well-organized; students demonstrate progress in academic achievement and enjoy the learning process
2.8 Most of group members are happy with the leader
3. Supporting Central Office / 3.1 Report timely group members’ needs and appeals, work closely with central office in the offer of professional help to local teachers
3.2 Keep an eye on the latest development of the subject and search for academic information regularly,remind central office to send delegates to academic conference or professional training
3.3 Effective in implementing plans and policies, cooperative with central office and be able to finish the tasks with high quality
3.4 Participate in the discussion of important issues and the implementation of action plan, promote Ambright’s development by contribution of good ideas and hard work
