Intermap and Getmapping join forces and create a new generation of 3D photographic products
Denver, Colorado (July 5, 2002) - As Intermap Technologies nears completion of its countrywide terrain mapping program, NEXTMap Britain, it announced today that Getmapping plc will be its Master Reseller for the data. NEXTMap Britain is the world’s first national 3D terrain mapping program completely funded by commercial entities and conducted by private industry.
NEXTMap Britain data includes detailed digital elevation information, providing an elevation point every 5 metres; each point with a vertical accuracy of 1 metre or better. Getmapping’s Millennium Map™ is the most comprehensive and detailed aerial photography of the UK.
