RUDDINGTON

FOOTPATHS PRESERVATION GROUP

This informal Group is supported by Ruddington Parish Council. It has as its general remit the regular walking of footpaths in and around the Parish – and slightly further afield. Anybody interested is invited to join the monthly walks that range from 4-6 miles in length lasting from 2½ - 3 hours. No charge is made.

Walks are held on the FIRST SUNDAY of each month throughout the year and either start from – or assemble at – RUDDINGTON VILLAGE GREEN. Starting times vary according to the time of year. Details are inside this pamphlet and are displayed in Ruddington Library from where further copies of this pamphlet are usually available.

For walks marked with an asterisk (*), cars will be used to reach the starting points and directions will be given on the day. Lifts are usually available for these but an alternative walk will be substituted should insufficient car spaces be available.

Leaders have discretion, particularly in adverse weather condition, to cancel or vary the advertised walk. Comments about footpaths in or adjacent to Ruddington Parish can always be made to the Clerk to Ruddington Parish Council (Tel. 9146660)
