[London, UK – April 04, 2015] Singer-songwriter PORTER SHIELDS announces that his highly anticipated debut EP album RED VELVET will be released on April 21st via his production company/label. The album sees Shields teaming up with some of today’s hottest up & coming producers and songwriters in R&B and Pop, such as Sunny Kale, Dan McDougall, Alastair Thynne & Bruno Major. The album will be available at all digital service providers on April 21.
Porter continues to prove his growing power as the latest single; “COUNT IT OFF” gains R&B airplay either side of the pond in his hometown of Atlanta & his current base London.
The Porter Shields-directed video for “COUNT IT OFF” premiered a few weeks ago and was shot in London.
RED VELVET is a sultry opus that sets a steady tone with the provocative “ALL MINE” and includes the heartwarming acoustic track “ONE THING”. Porter charmingly reflects on humble beginnings without ever losing sight of what truly matters, even when the electronic climax on “LOVE IS WHERE YOU FIND IT” is reached.
Shields is gaining critical praise and excitement from the public for RED VELVET. Regarding the new project, Porter has said, “I am excited for people to hear this music. I had fun with this.
