Tailgate!
That’s right… GMA is throwing a Tailgate event for the Ohio State game this Saturday Oct. 18th. There will be free food and a chance to socialize with fellow GMA members and e-board.
Please sign up at the meeting on Tuesday or send GMA an e-mail if you will be attending.
Remember, you earn 20 points for every social event you attend! J
Angel
GMA now has a group on Angel. If you are a paid member, you will have the benefit of this MEMBERS ONLY group.
There are postings for several internship opportunities from top companies such as United Airlines, Dart, and General Mills. You will also receive exclusive announcements the minute GMA receives any internship or job opportunities.
If you are a paid member and are not on this group, please let an e-board member know.
Project Green- Halloween Event
Has it been a life long dream of yours to dress up in scary costumes and scare little kids?
GMA can help you achieve that dream…. We are going with Project Green to Willow Elementary to participate in their Halloween Trick-Or-Treat Event.
“The time for the event is 12:30-2:30. We will be meeting at the Lear Center at 12:30 for those who need transportation. For those who are driving themselves they need to be at Willow Elementary by 1pm to setup their table. We recommend you dress costume to impress the children because at the end of the event, we will ask children to vote for their favorite character!”

Previous Meeting
· At our last meeting we had four guest speakers: Phil Black, Ryan Hagen, Scott Slingerland, and Kathleen.
· You might not recognize their names but you will recognize the companies they work/worked for: Whirlpool, Target, National Geographic, ABC 12 in Flint, Dell, and Motorola.
· All of our guests are current students at MSU. They talked about their internship and job experience. Also, they gave great advice on Career Gallery.
Becoming A Member
Visit our website and download the application. You may submit your application and membership payment into the GMA mail box at N 475 Business College Complex. Or, meet us on any of the event dates above.

1. Members receive a GMA T-shirt!!
2. Your resume gets put on a resume CD that we send to all of our presenters at the end of each semester.
3. You get the option to attend site visits at little or no cost!
4. You gain leadership skills and experiences to put on your resume.
5. You get to network with companies and other students on campus.
6. You receive special invitation from Fortune 500 companies that only offer to the General Management Association.
