OpenAccessUsersAssociation (OAUA)organizedameeting atHotel Savoy Suites: Manesar,invitingall thestakeholders andtheeminentpersonalities from industry. Themeofthismeeting wasIssuesinImplementing OpenAccessWayForwardin Haryana.

Proceedingsofthemeetingwasinitiatedwiththewelcome address from Mr. Neelabhra Paul (V.P. Manikaran Power Ltd.)inwhichhewelcomedalltheparticipants for attending themeeting.

Afterthe welcomenote,Mr.SubhojitDasgupta(Co-ordinator, OAUA) gaveasmallpresentation onthe measures takenbyOpenAccessUsersAssociationto implementopen accessin Haryana.Headdressedtheparticipants regardingseveralpetitionsfiledbyOAUA challenging the issues related to open access in various states.

Mr. Nishant Singhal (A.G.M. Manikaran Power Ltd.)demonstrated apresentationonpresent openaccessscenario inHaryana.Heprovided an overviewofthecurrentpowermarketscenario inHaryana.He showsthebarriersrelatedtoopenaccesshowindustries willbebenefitediftheygetpermission for openaccess.

Mr. RohitBajaj(Vicepresident, IndianEnergyExchange) presentedthe exchange perspective.He provided an overviewoftheIndianenergymarket,proceeding furtherto showingthefunctionsoftheIEX.Heexplainedtheworking oftheIEXandalsothebenefitthataconsumer canavail whiletradingthroughIEX.

Afterthepresentations itwasanopenhousediscussion relatedtowayforwardinHaryana inregardstothe subjectOpenAccess.Itwasassuredthattheissuesraised inthemeeting areundertheprocessofbeingmorerefined andstreamlined.
