Multipurpose Resource Center Dream

For over 15 years now the Christian Center for Science and Apologetics have been initiating various conferences, camps and retreats to reach the unreached and encourage God’s people in their walk with Him.

With the viraety of projects we are doing, we again and again realize how deep is our need for our own multipurpose resource center facilities.

Project description: The Multipurpose Resource Centre is planned to be built as a hotel, motel, conference center and camping area complex. It is to be by the seaside so during the high season it would be a drug/violence-free resort area. All the yearround the hotel and conference center is to host various conferences, worship and family festivals, Bible, church and family retreats, children and youth camps.The Multipurpose Resource Centre is also to have a library and Creation Museum.

Project purpose:Holding year round conferences, retreats and camps, Christian Center for Science and Apologetics spends up to $20,000 a year on renting places to host the events. Due to the fact that we are limited in funds, we only hold those events that are most important for our ministry and have became a yearly commitment (Academic Symposiums, Children camps), missing out on other events that we would have hosted if there was a facility. Paying the rent we basically lose the money while we could make it and again invest into the ministry. Havingaplaceofourowntohosttheevents, we would be making money instead of spending it.

Work that has to be done to implement the project: The Multipurpose Resource Centre is to be built in steps. First of all, we would like to build the hotel and conference center, and then continue the construction after the first profits are received. After that we can already host the events and at the same time build the camping area, motel and the facility for recreation opportunities (the museum, library, etc.). Purchasing the landis a priority; the rest will be on-going construction.

Finances

  1. Total cost of the project: The approximate total cost of the project would be two million USD.
  2. Further investments: The Multipurpose ResourseCentre is going to be a self-supporting project. The profit made over the high season will cover other expenses that come up over the year.
