City Recital Hall

City Recital Hall is located in the heart of Sydney CBD, just off Martin Place.The Hall has two main entrances. The Pitt Street entrance is a level access way from the street, leading into the ground foyer lobby. There is also an access lift in the Ash Street entrance.

Getting there

Transport

  • The Hall is easily accessed by Public Transport (both train & bus), servicing Wynyard and Martin Place.

  • Walking distance – Approximately 2-5 minutes from all accessible public transport stops.

Parking

  • Wilson Parking -123 Pitt Street Sydney is the closest car park and is located next-door to City Recital Hall.
  • Accessible parking spaces are available in this car park beside the venue elevators.
  • Patrons can access the Hall directly using the car park lift (add from 1 hour prior to the performance)
  • Drop off and pick up points – are at the entrance to Angel Place on Pitt Street. Taxis and private vehicles for patrons with access or mobility requirements may drop off at the Pitt Street doors in Angel Place.

  • Box Office - Locatednext to the Pitt Street entrance to the Hall. Ticket purchases and collections are all available from the same locationMonday to Friday 9am to 5pm (excluding public holidays) and three hours prior to all performances..
  • Access Toilets – are available on every level of City Recital Hall.
  • Lifts – run directly from the car park beneath the building to the foyers at every level of the venue and are accessible from one hour prior to the performance start time.
  • Venue wheelchairs –are available at the Box Office by prior request.
  • Bars and Refreshment areas accessible - Yes.

Inside the Hall

  • Access and Wheelchair seating – is available throughout the venue. Please discuss specific requirements directly with Box Office staff when booking your tickets.
  • Hearing assistance– Patrons using hearing aids may access the hearing induction loop. To utilise the loop please switch your hearing aid to the "T" position. Seats nearest to the aisles are not serviced by the induction loop.
  • Assistance animals permitted entry – Yes.

All access bookings should be made directly with the box office by telephone or in person so we can provide the appropriate information for arrival and access requirements.Please note that free tickets & accessible seating options cannot be booked online.
