Job Title: Engineering Technical Manager (Civils & Structures)
Purpose: Lead in planning the safe management and Inspection of Nexus buildings and structures to ensure compliance with the performance specification with Nexus/client.
Ensure performance and quality standards are met by providing a reliable and cost effective service against requirements. /

Demonstrable engineering experience working in buildings/structures maintenance or facilities management. / Application Form/Interview

Proven financial management skills, able to manage effectively within budget constraints. / Application Form/Interview

EDUCATION
Recognised degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering / Application Form/ Certificate
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
Theoretical and technical knowledge of structural analysis and design of building structures / Application Form/Interview
Working knowledge of the use of Codes of Practice and Building Regulations for the design, refurbishment and repair of building structures / Application Form/ Interview
Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations and procedures for compliance. / Application Form/Interview
Knowledge of forms of building construction (current and historic), structural surveying techniques, investigations and repair of building defects. / Application Form/Interview
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
IT literate in Microsoft Office and general software, including the ability to create spreadsheets and format documents. / Application Form/Interview

EXPERIENCE
