AF Worldwide Bowling (WWB)

Bowl to Win Guidelines

1 Jun - 31 Aug 13

1. Youth may bowl individually or in an organized Youth Programs event. Should the Youth Programs choose to hold an official WWB event then coordination with the Bowling Center staff is suggested to determine best available dates and times to conduct the event.

2. Youth participants are eligible if their age is in one of the three age categories; 5-9, 10-14, 15-18. Teens 18 years of age and still in High School are eligible. Family members are encouraged to participate with youth.

3. Only eligible youth are authorized to win a prize.

4. Games must be bowled on an Air Force Installation or Air Force lead Joint Base.

5. All costs for participating in the event are the responsibility of the individual, family, or installation.

6. Youth are responsible for submitting their bowling results on the Bowl to Win site www.usafbowltowin.com. They simply fill out the Bowl to Win form and press submit. The WWB program ends 31 Aug 13. At that time the website will not accept any more submissions.

7. This is NOT a USBC Youth-sanctioned event.

8. Games cannot be submitted from USBC Youth league play; WWB is a separate program.

9. Lane bumpers can be used for all ages.

10. All participants may bowl as many games as they want though each participant must bowl with at least one other person (doubles).

# of people you bowl with / # of games / # of entries
1 / 1 / 1 entry
2 / 1 / 2 entries
3 / 2 / 6 entries
4 / 2 / 8 entries

11. One simple way to calculate how many times a participant may enter their name is bring two friends and get two chances to win. Bowl with four friends and get four chances to win (can only partner with those on the same lane, maximum of 5 players per lane). If multiple games are played multiply the number of games by the number of friends who bowled.

12. Three winners will be randomly selected weekly through the duration of the program. Prizes are custom bowling balls and bags. The more games youth bowl the more chances they have to win. Air Force winners will be announced via the Bowl to Win website at www.usafbowltowin.com throughout the months of the program.

13. Winners will receive an e-mail notification with a certificate that can be printed and taken to the Bowling Center. The Pro Shop will place the order for the ball and bag. Pro Shop staff will also assist youth choose the appropriate ball and size. Balls will be shipped to the Bowling Center where the Pro Shop will custom fit for each winner. Winners will have 30 days to redeem their winning certificate.

14. Youth Programs Directors are asked to upload pictures of their event and winners on the FitFamily website.
