Please briefly describe your experience and qualifications to serve on the Process Subcommittee.

My background includes regulatory compliance, QA auditing and technical writing. I have nearly eleven years at ATC in transmission Asset Delivery, Asset Management and Corporate Compliance. For four years, responsibilities included monitoring compliance and coordination of comments for a majority of ATC related FAC and PRC NERC Reliability Standards.

Currently, as the ATC Reliability Policy and Standards Consultant, I have responsibility as ATC's Registered Ballot Body (RBB) and work with SMEs and accountable Department managers in developing comments and ballot recommendations on NERC Standards in response to requests from NERC, MRO and RFC. I am also currently serving a 3-year term on the MRO Standards Committee representing the Transmission System Operator (TSO) Sector and recently participated on the MRO Standards Drafting Team (SDT) revising the MRO Regional Standards Process Manual. I regularly participate in the MRO NERC Standards Review Forum (NSRF) addressing current Standards Development projects. In 2010, I completed the NERC Quality Review Training and qualified to conduct these reviews.

Finally, I attended several Quarterly face-to-face SCPS meetings as an Observer in the past year and recently volunteered to help the SCPS develop the draft of the Rapid Revision Process and Rapid Revision Drafting Team Qualifications documents. On several occasions, I acted as a “proxy” for ATC’s Standards Committee member, Jason Shaver.

Note: In making its selections for the Process Subcommittee, the Standards Committee will give preference to those volunteers who have experience with NERC’s standards development processes as well as experience in developing procedures, manuals, or other reference documents.
