LAY READER, LECTOR, LEM, PRAYER MINISTER SCHEDULE

1. If you are unable to serve please find a replacement and notify Tracy.
2. Prayers of the People should be read 1/4th way down the center aisle facing the Alter.
The Deacon reads when present. The Celebrant introduces the Prayers and concludes
with an absolution or Collect.
3. Nine O'clock Service: The first Chalice Bearer reads the Lesson if the Lector is not
present. Also reads 1st Lesson when there are two readings.
Lay Readers and Prayer Ministers go to the Sanctuary with the Clergy and take
communion together.
4. Eleven o'clock service: When there are two readings the first Chalice Bearer reads the 1st Lesson. Reads the Psalm if not sung by the Choir.
5. When no Acolytes are present the first listed Chalice Bearer is the Crucifer and Server.
