The Rosetta Stone is the most fmaous stone in nthe world It is from Egypt, and it’s more then two thousand years old. You can see it in the British Museum in London. The Rosetta Stone is importantbecause it helped us understand Egyptian writing called hieroglyphics. You can see these on the stone (Holcombe, 2012).
