Purpose To manage the charity dedicated to helping those with Acquired Brain Injury rebuild their lives, with services focussed on them, their families and carers. To ensure sufficient funding to deliver services across Worcestershire.

Responsibilities:

·  Implementation of the Board’s plans and strategies to meet the charity’s overall purpose to its clients, within its budget constraints.

·  Leadership and overall management of all operations and service delivery

·  Achievement of highest service levels and outcomes in day care and supporting people, keeping the focus on the clients.

·  Ensure organisation meets all requirements for safeguarding vulnerable adults, and other relevant standards..

·  Management and development of Budgets and financial control

·  Management, organisation, training and development of staff and volunteers and their health, safety and welfare.

·  Work closely with board, keeping them informed, reporting on service delivery and involving them where appropriate

·  Representation of charity to Funders, securing ongoing income streams

Experience:

·  Management of significant teams of staff, some remote

·  Management of Stand alone Organisations.

·  Caring/Health/Social work service delivery, ideally working with adults with ABI

·  Organisation of size greater than £500000, 30 staff

·  Financial/Budget management

·  Senior level representation to Council, NHS and other funders

·  Leadership during major change

·  Diversity of Funding Streams
