Part 4: Supporting Documentation

Applicants must provide evidence to support claims made in Part 3 of this form.
The following documents are required in respect of the relevant questions. These can be submitted electronically or in hardcopy but must be sent together with the application form:
  1. Local Authority Care – Please provide a letter from your Local Authority confirming the exact
dates of care.
  1. Carer of a family member – documentation confirming that you are in receipt of a Carer’s Allowance or a notification letter from your Local Authority
4./5. Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) – Letter confirming your award while an undergraduate student or
equivalent medical evidence.
  1. Postcode prior to undergraduate degree – Utility bill or bank statement showing date and full address.

Your Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme application will be considered by a panel of senior members of staff within the School. It may be necessary for additional supporting information to be sought from other School staff. The School of Advanced Study processes all personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
