Job Title: Online Content Co-ordinator (FT)
Location: Falmouth, Cornwall
Reporting To: Head of Online Sales
Responsible For:
· Primary Objectives
· Be a key member of the online team, ensuring the right product and content is delivered to the right customer at the right time.
· Research, plan and brief campaigns (for email, website, printed mailbag inserts and online packaging specs), balancing our key brand messages and commercial targets at all times.
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and stay calm when tight deadlines need to be met, an eye for detail and a desire to create an exceptional and seamless customer experience.
· Main Tasks and Key Areas of Work
· Stay ahead of and react to online trading, to drive sales and ensure we meet weekly targets and KPI’s.
· Maintain excellent knowledge of products and seasonal inspiration for current and upcoming collections.
· Create long and short term online content plans for each season, which are brand and data led (past performance of products) and reactive (weather, product changes, delays, trade).
· Work closely with the Content Manager to make sure all key products, events and stories are included in planning and are consistent with and support other channels.
· Deliver content that supports our SEO strategy.
· Work closely with the Catalogue Manager to align plans and ensure content being delivered supports commercial and brand goals.
· Maintain a regular dialogue with the warehouse team to ensure that all online orders contain the correct/ relevant content, and organise design updates and order top-ups of mailbag inserts and care guides when necessary. Review usability of mailbags and boxes, working with the Warehouse team to deliver correct specs for Graphics team.
· Work closely with the Graphic Design Manager to prioritise digital briefs and gain approvals for artwork from all relevant Managers.
· Be responsible for communicating, prioritising and checking all site updates (CMS and product), making sure they are made correctly and ahead of campaigns.
· Maintain a regular dialogue with the merchandising and buying teams to make sure you have all the latest information on product availability, launch dates and stock levels.
· Work closely with the merchandising team to make sure site content delivers on commercial goals. Organise and drive seasonal promotions through the online channel.
· Work with the Email Co-ordinator to support our email segmentation strategy and schedule. This includes writing and testing email subjects, as well as inputting ideas for testing email content.
· Input ideas for site testing, development and improvements to the customer journey; manage the briefing of any mock-ups needed.
· Continually strive to improve your knowledge of our customers’ interests and shopping behaviour.
· Work with the Content Manager & Photography Manager on any specific online requirements for film or photography.
· Ensure that online marketing plans are communicated weekly to wider teams (including customer service, despatch, buying and merchandising).
· Continually review and improve internal processes for best efficiency of communication and approvals.
