Learning Consequences:
(Yellow Star) The “Super Student” level is reserved for outstanding behavior. A student who reaches this level will earn a special note home and a sticker on his/her clip. After 5 stickers, the clip will be retired and sent home. A new clip will be given and the student will pick from the treasure box!(Purple Happy Face) Students can move to the “Great Job” level for continuing to display good behavior. You should be very proud of your child for reaching this level!(Blue Happy Face) Students will move to the “Good Choices” level for showing that they are making the right behavior decisions! Ending the day on this level is great!(Green Happy Face) Every student will start the day on the “Ready to Learn” level. As the day goes on, clips can be moved up and down, based upon behavior choices. This level is a good one to be on!(Yellow dot) A student will move to the “Think About It” level after he or she has had a verbal warning and behavior continued. The student will have a 5 minute “Think About It” refocus time. A quick note will be written in the folder.(Red dot) A student will move to the “Refocus and Think” level after he or she has had a verbal warning and behavior continued. The student will have a 5 minute “Refocus and Think” time. A quick note will be written in the folder. When a student moves to “Parent Contact and/or Office Referral,” the teacher will notify parents via note or phone call. Serious disruptions, such as fighting, destroying property, and serious defiance, will result in an immediate “Office referral.” You will be contacted by the teacher and/or administration.
