Sunday morning announcement and video procedures

Please realize that we desire to adequately publicize every ministry at Bayside for success. In an effort to do this we restrict the number of announcements to 4 or 5 on Sunday mornings. We have found that doing more than this creates information overload for the church congregation. So the sooner we know about your ministry announcement, the better.

Also due to deadlines and dates, some ministry announcements will be more critical and hold a higher priority than others. Please let the office secretary know if these apply to your announcement. If it is determined that there are too many announcements for a particular week, you will be notified if yours will be postponed to the following Sunday.

Finally we desire to present our announcements with professionalism, quality, and appropriateness in a way that honors Jesus Christ. If the announcement team reviewing your proposal has concerns about these areas, someone will contact you to see what changes can be made to better accomplish this mission.

Sunday Morning Announcement Procedures:

  1. Please provide the office secretary any and all information by Tuesday to give ample time to create your slideand present the request at the weekly staff meeting. Ideally a week in advance would be best. If it is not discussed at the staff meeting, it will not be put into the announcements for that Sunday!
  2. If creating your own slide, please provide a completed slide at least 1 week in advance of the date you desire it to be shown. This will give time for the announcement team to review the media and make anyadjustments or changesif needed. (You will be contacted if changes are made or suggested changes proposed.)

Sunday Morning Written Program Procedures:

  1. Please provide the office secretary any and all information by Tuesday to give ample time to create your write up and present the request at the staff meeting.

Sunday Morning Video Procedures:

  1. Please present any video clip you are interested in showing to the media team leader at least 1 week prior to the date you desire for it to be shown. Again, sooner is better.
  2. Please keep the length of the video to 3 minutes or less.
  3. The media team leader will review the video with another staff person for final approval.
