Permanent and temporary contracts for Senior/Experienced Speech and Language Therapists, 35 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (Term Time only plus 10 days of work during school closure or Saturdays as required)

Based at I CANs Dawn House School, Rainworth, Nottinghamshire

Have you been qualified and working as a Speech and Language Therapist for at least 2 years? Then these roles may be just what you are looking for.

I CAN’s Dawn House school is an outstanding specialist school committed to the highest quality integrated education, therapy and care. You will work collaboratively as part of strong and supportive multi-disciplinary team of teachers, therapists, teaching assistants and residential care officers, with class groups, smaller groups and with individual children. Dawn House School is a non-maintained day and residential school for pupils aged between 5 – 19 years, who have severe and complex speech, language and communication difficulties (including Asperger’s Syndrome) with associated learning and/or behavioural difficulties.

As an SLT with previous experience of working in an educational setting, you will be part of a friendly and enthusiastic therapy team. You may also have additional experience of specialising in other areas such as Sensory Integration, social, emotional and mental health, dysphagia, or another clinical area relevant to our learners.

You will be working with a small complex caseload and supporting our learners to fulfil their full potential at school, in our residential setting, at home and in their communities.
