FIRST DAY: Read Joshua 10:29-43

2.  Write the “Always” for this passage (i.e. the truth or principle contained in this passage.)

THIRD DAY: Read Joshua 10:29-43

3.  Write the “Now” for this passage (i.e. how God wants you to respond to this passage.)

FOURTH DAY: Read Joshua 10:29-33 & various.

4.  From these passages, who is sited as the one responsible for victory in the battles described? What key role does Joshua play in these battles? How can you mirror Joshua’s behavior as you face battles in this life?

5.  Read Joshua 5:13-14. In these passages, Joshua encounters the commander of the Lords army. How can you ally yourself with the Lord as you face battles in your life today? How confident are you when facing the battles of this life knowing God is on your side?

FIFTH DAY: Read Joshua 10:34-39 & 30b

6.  As Joshua continues to conquer the armies of Canaan, what is the common theme of each battle? Contrast that with Saul in 1 Sam 15:1-9. What can these two lessons teach us about what type of obedience God desires?

7.  What area’s of your life are you tempted to give partial obedience to God? How can you fight against that temptation?

SIXTH DAY: Read Joshua 10:40-43 and Eph 6:10-18

8.  God won the battles for Israel and for believers He will do the same. What encourages you about God’s presence with you in the spiritual battles that you will face?

9.  What elements of the Christian armor encourage you to fight against the enemy? What elements do you need to familiarize yourself with more?
