(b) If a bulb thermometer is used to illustratea general measurement system, please
1) Label the equivalent term on each component of the thermometer.
2) Describe how each component of the thermometerworks in view of the measurement system.

2) A Wheatstone bridge utilizes a PT100 sensor in position R1 as shown in Figure. Initially, the bridge has resistances of all arms equal to 100 ohms. Assume that the PT100 experiences a change in electrical resistance with temperature according to the equation
R = R0 [1 + 0.004 (T-T0)] where Ro = 100 and To = 0 C
Determine (a) the static sensitivity of the system
(b) the temperature if the output voltage is 1 volt.

3)A piezoelectric pressure transducer as shown in figure is used to measure the pressure of air in a tank by generating analogue signals, and it is to be calibrated by measuring both the pressure and the electric current simultaneously for various settings. If the relationship between the pressure and the corresponding current is given by
P = 13.00 I - 51.00
where P = pressure in a tank [kPa],
I = current [mA],
Determine (a) the sensitivity of the transducer, (b) zero offset, and (c)h if I = 10 mA
4)a) Match the description from Column A with its corresponding name in Column B:
A / Bb) Decide whether the following sentences are true or false.
