Week of April 24th-April 28th
Monday, April 24th
1. ELA- Superkids’ Club Practice Pages page 7.
2. Math- Math/Number Awareness Subtraction Worksheet found in green
folder. (Have children cross out the number of things being subtracted
and count and write how many are left.
3. Spelling- In green homework notebook write Spelling word big 3x and
write a sentence using the word big.
Tuesday, April 25th
1. ELA- Draw a picture of your favorite part of the trip. Write two sentences
that go together to tell about the picture on the writing paper in the green
folder.
2. Math- Homework Practice Workbook page 83. (children can use concrete
objects or they may draw turtles and then cross out the number being
subtracted and write how many are left.)
3. Spelling- In green homework notebook write Spelling word bus 3x and
write a sentence using the word bus.
Wednesday, April 26th
1. ELA – In green homework notebook children write capital and lowercase
Rr.
2. Math- Homework Practice Workbook page 84. (children can use concrete
objects or they may draw and then cross out the number being
subtracted and write how many are left.)
3. Spelling- In green homework notebook write Spelling word bugs 3x and
write a sentence using the word bugs.
Thursday, April 27th
1. ELA- Superkids’ Club Practice Pages page 8.
2. Math- Homework Practice Workbook page 85. (Note: There are no
animals it should read objects in the directions.)
3. Spelling- In green homework notebook write Spelling word job 3x and
write a sentence using the word job.
Friday, April 28th-
***No Homework. Have a nice weekend.
Reminders:
Beginning this week children will be given four spelling words for the week. Each night there will be one word that they write three times and write a sentence using the word. On Friday morning the words will be dictated and the children will write the words.
Tuesday, April 25th-Kindergarten and 4th Grade Trip To the Old Stone House
We will be eating lunch back at school.
Friday, April 28th- N.U.T. Day $1.00
The Staten Island Zoo trip has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 16th. All students have paid already. Please be sure to sign the new permission slip with the May 16th date on it and return to school. If you plan on chaperoning the trip please send in the $10.00 adult admission fee. All chaperones must be Virtus trained.
